Conecta: Miami Arts curated once again the programmatic activities for the International Children’s Day (ICD) at the 34th International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami.
The ICD is an all-day event dedicated to children and their families so that they can enjoy several educational/artistic/entertaining activities in Spanish. We have an array of activities such as music, painting and puppetry workshops, arts and crafts, face painting, and finally the day culminates with a children’s theatre production for the entire family.
2:00 – 3:00 pm – Arts and crafts, rides, face painting and distribution of healthy combo meals
3:00 – 5:00 pm – Workshops: painting, puppetry, percussion & music
5:00 – 6:00 pm – Performance: Siete Cabritillos (Seven Little Goats)
Disobeying their mother, seven little goats allow a wolf into their house. But their mother, and the courage and ingenuity of the youngest, deal the fierce intruder his just deserts. And that’s just the beginning. Written by Paca García and Aniceto Roca & Directed by Aniceto Roca. Presented by Los Claveles Teatro from Murcia, Spain.
