The Lincoln Road Business Improvement District has commissioned Conecta to curate a five-month program of FREE and interactive multi-disciplinary activities for children that will showcase an unique and creative approach to street theatre at one of these most iconic venues of Miami! Children will get to not only interact with other children in a different level besides playing and school, but they will also get to interact with artists and artworks in a way that is open and accessible.
Our program aims to place Lincoln Road as a must-see destination for high-end artistic and cultural experiences for children throughout the year. Creating an immersive artistic experience for children in a mall, a space that is not traditionally considered as one to exhibit quality cultural experiences, is ideal in that it dispels the wall that often exists within the museum/gallery/concert hall context.
