Crisálidas is a short film created and presented by the Adriana Barraza Acting Studio students of the 4th Level: Interpretation for Cinema of the acclaimed Adriana Barraza Acting Studio, under the direction of Adriana Barraza; Direction of Photography and Edition by professor Mileydy Artiles; Music and Sound Design by Alex Bermúdez; Art Direction by Lisette Graffe; Script by professor Neher Jacqueline Briceño.
Crisálidas tells the story of Elena, a mother who gathers her children on the morning of her birthday to unveil a dark past that will forever change the destiny of all.
Crisálidas is a true collaboration between a cast of emerging young artists and established film and theatre professionals behind the cameras, culminating in a fruitful learning and collaborative artistic process that has received invitations to various International Film Festivals.
